About 1st Street
DC delivery, run the modern way.
1st Street is a delivery service in Washington, DC. You order online, we check ID at the door, and your driver can text you when your order is on its way.
Knight King Delivery is now 1st Street: same local team and drivers, a more modern and efficient service.
Our story
Started in DC in 2019
We started with one goal: a delivery service that gives customers the reliability and discretion the industry was missing. That goal hasn’t changed. The name has, and so have the tools behind the service: online ordering, order updates from your driver, and points on every order.
Vision
Customer satisfaction is more than a saying to us. The best measure of our work is a customer who comes back.
How we work
What you can count on
01
DC only
We deliver within Washington, DC: from H Street, NoMa and Capitol Hill to Dupont, Adams Morgan and U Street.
02
21+, ID checked
Every order needs a valid ID showing you’re 21 or over. Upload your ID photos at checkout; we delete them from the website within 48 hours. See our privacy policy.
03
Updates on the way
Your driver can text you when they’re heading to you, with a live status link, so you know when to expect them.
Our drivers
The same local team
The drivers who bring your order are the same local team as before the name change. The delivery fee on your order is their pay. We’re part of the community we deliver to, and we give back where we can.
